So, the f7p isn't the same as the clio williams engine?

F7P is a 1.8 and the Williams is an 2.0 F7R.

ok, scuse the noobness.. but apparently my car had the clio williams engine. So that makes it a 2.0? there wasn't a 1.8 version?

Nope. Although many will say the 1.8 is a Williams, it's not really. It's basically the same though, just smaller with a lot less torque.

good rule of thumb: 1.8= good. 2.0= williams powaz. And he should know. Hes got one. :wink:

Ahh, yes.. thats sam who i bought it from.. but he got it from joe who did the original conversion (it was a grey 4 door till it was reshelled).

Theres an easy way to find out.

Is the engine coade F7P or F7R?

1.8s are by no means "bad" dude. So dont be down on it.

Theres not a great deal of actual williams engines around.
