Hi Everyone,
I passed my driving test this morning! So chuffed - only two minors. It was pouring with rain and my nerves were totally shot, but I got through it.
Downside is I can't find any insurance
I have tried the following: Peter James, Footman James, Co-operative Insurance, GoCompare - among others!
The two Classic insurers there won't insure under 25 on a Volvo 340/360?! Now I can't understand that one as there are others on here with insurance through them - but hey ho!
CIS - £4500 for bare bones insurance with a near £500 excess!
Please help me - I'm at a loss as to what to do now.
Thanks.
Matthew

Admiral on the 10 month no claims booster policy. Put 2other people on who've had a licence a while. Any two will do. Old if poss.

Cheers for that VND - £3337

That was with my Mam and my Grandad on as named drivers and limiting it to 4000 miles per year! Putting my Dad on raised it to nearly £5000 for some reason... oh and they were both TPFT....

Comparison websites, take the top 10 companies from each comparision, RING them, don't do internet quotes and see where it goes from there.

Don't add male drivers it makes it worse... I added my dad who has 20+ NCB and has nearly every license known to man lol and it made mine go up. i paid £2900 to get my 1.4 on the road at 19 and now i pay £1900 for a 2.3turbo 360
