New V3M Headquarters!!

Hello everyone,

I'm very happy and excited to inform you all that the V3M HQ is growing a lot!

V3M was until this weekend a tragic patchwork of places / garages with cars and parts spread everywhere... Space wasn't enough, making repairs was simply impossible, it's all over!!

There is now a big V3M workshop / shed / warehouse!! (250m²!) It was a chicken coop in the past :-), nicely transformed to my needs. This is a brand new start for V3M, thanks to that motivation for the 300series is coming back! Most of the cars are already brought to the new place (that was a huge expedition with a tow truck last weekend, very funny!)

Shelves will have to be installed for all the parts, also a confortable zone with GLE seats... Probably a computer corner too for the parts database management, and (wish!!) for the website management! I have to check for the internet, we’ll see.

Here are some pictures (poor Blackberry quality) to give an idea! Update soon!

It is not very far from there, I think, looks to be less than lenght of thump on this map I have here, ferry from Harwich to Vlaardingen, then tiny bit of drive to get, um, I don't know where exactly Aymat is, but surely it is less drive than going to Shetland (the Isle, up north, where goblins live)...

Looks really nice garage there Aymat, I spot there is few models missing and now space for them, so I guess it is hunting season too?

Whereabouts in Belgium is your facility, Duvel78? I might be driving through Belgium on the way to Holland in a few months and would love to visit!

It's in Oorbeek, very small village near Tienen.

Every Volvo 300 fan will be more than welcome when this workshop will be proberly equiped! sm4 Professional shelves are ordered for all the sparts, then I'll have to sort out evrything, huge work...

I went there yesterday, small idea of the progress

Mk3 louvre or saloon bud?

We will have to organise another trip soon, all you need is to fit a pool table there (though Pete wouldn't be able to stare at the local's quite so easy as the pool hall) and it'd make an awesome workshop/party place ;)

Ha ha!!! Brilliant idea! :D My first concern is to install a big refrigerator for beers :D

Yes, Mk3 louvre, and not the only one!
