Derrick, 340 F7R

Top speed: managed to get up to 110mph on the speedo, so don't know how accurate it was. Didn't want to go any higher due to engine screaming, still had a lil bit to go I reckon though.

0 - 60: I'll get back to you

jtbo made me chuckle.

 Nice. I think I got up to 100MPH speedo when I had the 1.4 in, but again, I didn't want to push it. In the back of my mind was the thought of "it's 27 years old, you better back off"

I'm such a wus. 140 you say eh speedy? Wonder what 1.4 diff ratio will let me get to. Probably not more than 115 I reckon.

3Door Mk2 with the back seats down for more aerodynamicals.

Engine: B14 with origonal everthing.

Top speed: 107 on the speedo, downhill, following wind. I had just had a haircut and a poo for weight reduction. Empty boot. Sparewheel and passengers left at top of hill.

0 - 60 : Too dangerous to turn the pages of a calender whilst double declutch short shifting up, so impossible to calculate accurately.

3dr mk2 360 with B230FK and a pitiful 4psi of b00st. (When taken off the road)

0-60: Dunno, but I managed to shame plenty of cars I thought would have me.

Top end: unsure. Had it off the clock though. Think the clock reads up to 110, and then has markings up to 120. Probs about a tonne then.
She didn't have a lot left, damn FD. Although I would have kept pushing if not for fear of losing the louvre!

Sideways: Very much so  3rd gear slides ensure you're concentrating.

Smoke: Yes. 8)

She used to go canny with the old B19 boat anchor too tbf. Torquetastic. VND failz at street racing. Everyone knows you drop the rear seats for weight distribution! Fold the mirrors in for aero win.

I had the windows, and rear pop outs open.
Having the back seats flat reduced internal vortex pressure, and therefore downforce, and therefore wieght.
And so, i went faster.

Cant argue with the science man.

My B230FT with 11psi boost:

0-60 : 7.5s
Top speed: 140 MPH speedo reading, afterwhich the turbo cracked a little leaving a white cloud that got very small in the rear view, but was still usable for year or 2 after.

Still some modification to do to change the body from a 940 estate to a 360 :)

expecting sub 6s if I can get the clutch to grip well enough and not break the drive.
