700/900 series question.
Do any large barge geniuses happen to know if 700s and 900s share the same steering column spline size?
I.e. would steering wheels/bosses be interchangables?
Cheers all.

Re: 700/900 series question.
I would say yes as the 900 was based completely on the 700. Here's a bit of proof too:

Well, buy whatever you're thinking of buying. And if I'm wrong, you can punch me in the face. Deal? (I'm counting on the massive distance between Bristol and Newcastle here)

I would have also accepted a Mars Bar.
Re: 700/900 series question.
Just to throw in a tiny wobbly -
Fitting of alternate steering wheels to 900s (presumably Barge) - small matter of airbag in wheel boss - if you disconnect
the bag and change the wheel you bring up the SRS warning lamp and de-activate the seat belt pre-tensioners.
Possible MOT and/or insurance bothers ??
I'll go back to sleep now,
Mac

I had just blindly presumed it was pre-airbag.
Is the column height adjustble on 900s anyone?

Re: 700/900 series question.
while on the topic of pre tensioners, is there a way to bypass that? i.e no airbag wheel but still have seatbelts that hold you in should the worst happen?

Re: 700/900 series question.
yes, each belt and steering wheel has separate electric circuit.
Just do not connect wheel airbag.
