11:1 is low for diesel compression, that's good petrol territory!

Would be fun to have a play in though :)

That thing has a huge adjustability of power by the loud pedal! Without pushing a lot there is hardly any pressure, which makes of course very little power as even compression is so low, if they would take that power out from normal 17-23:1 compression then it would be bit more difficult to drive as there would be always be ton of torque and there is not huge amount of weight at rear of those, even engine and transmission is relocated, at best they can get close to 50/50 weight distribution afaik.

Amount of torque is so huge that weight on rear wheels just is quite a little. Even standard engines put out really impressive amounts of torque, actually so much that it is not allowed to use lowest gears if you are getting stuck as driveline would not be able to handle stress that comes when suddenly you get some grip.

Wet soft ground and truck meant for rough conditions = most fun that you can get from off roading, it is incredible what kind of places those things can go.

Steering feedback is always quite lacking in those, so don't know if they are really that much fun on track, but of course there are other things that make it up at least partly.
