How about a section for Newbies to introduce themselves, rather that the General/everything section.
With a sticky explaining how to use the Search function and a kind suggestion to attempt this feat first, before asking well answered questions etc?
Or even a Rules sticky?
Rule 1) Search 1st, ask questions later.
Rule 2) There must be pics.
etc.
What bolts do I need for lowerings blocks?
What bits do I need for valver conversions?
What wheels fit a 300.
Answers to all the popular questions are freely available through Search, but new kids always repost the same old questions.
Dunno how feasable this is, but its a decent idea in theory.

Re: Newbie/introduction section?
Tis a good idea, needs a rides section to. So V3M Owners section with sub-sections of one for Intros/Noobs and one for Rides.
Whilst V3M works okay, I think some rules are handy before the event happens, rather than after. So can we have a few more like thy shalt not covet thy neighbour's ride and thou shalt not grass?

Indeed it happens. Although the (allegedly) smart ones will say they have looked, then fall foul of their own statement by typing something daft which shows they haven't.volvosneverdie wrote:but new kids always repost the same old questions.
Flog all non-searchers with a big stick? And anyone who really gets sloppy with their spelling? Couldn't give a hoot about grammar, but if the words are wrong, the search tends to fall on its arse.

Really like the idea but unfortunately nobody other than Aymat has Administrator privileges and he's a very busy guy
But this should certainly go hand in hand with the 'projects' area!
