Ive thought this for a while.

But surely its not sensible to mount an A Bar or full Bull Bars direct to the vallence!!!???

What other options are there under the front end?

the crossmember that the engine mounts and anti-roll bar 'body' mounts are. curved bar that runs between inner wings. Solid as anything really. I'd make some bolt on/off ones but my mate reckon's it's illegal unless you have a 'good use' for them eg. off roading :/

Yeah I think any vehicle with them as an additional option (like transits) it's ok but any other car it becomes a pedestrian hazard. I'm no expert though.
