FWD Handbrake Drift Fail (Non Volvo Content)

Post by Hell Driver » 11 Feb 2012 05:58 pm

Rudely awoken yesterday morning by this outside the house:
Image
Fleet car delivery drivers regularly pass on the way to a storage HQ and pull handbrake skids (not just on snow, but all the time, all sodding year) in modern FWD crappy blobs. This driver learned the hard way not to yank on the handbrake at 35+ mph on ice, on a narrow road. She said she was avoiding another car coming the other way....our cctv shows otherwise...lying b*tch.

We all like a bit of fun in the snow, but theres a time and a place.......somewhere big and away from other cars and stone walls

Toying with the idea, getting fed up with screeching tyres every time, wouldn't mind so much if they did it a few hundred yards down the road either way. Also don't want them hitting our cars/truck when parked on the road. Luckily it wasn't our wall but might be next time. Don't think they were going to tell the people who's wall it was, they were more interested in getting the car off it and getting away fast (which they didn't, as it got hooked on a metal post  ). Cheeky sods even chucked the bumper in front of next doors driveway. They were all (3 cars worth) very aggressive as us locals came out and gave them some flack about their sh*tty driving. Quick call to head office fetched them back for the bumper however. It's no wonder there are so many accidents and so much bad driving, there's some real scum out there behind the wheel, especially when it's the wheel of someone else's car!

Definetly send the company the video, they dont deserve to be doing that job and theres plenty more people out without jobs that would do better!

Idiots. I really want to know WHY they do Handbrake turns on that road in the first place, or any road for that matter - some sort of "test"?

Either way, the fooling around has finally caught up to them.
