Hello, for many time i was loking on the web and apreciate your efforst to maintenance your volvo's, now I enter here to show my car .

My name is Jimmy And I live in Peru South America yes is so far from yours, but here the volvo brand have and excellent reputation on roads, Many cars like 240/740/850/440/S40/XV models still running , but 340 and 360 series,not, because in some cases are dificult to get some parts. or when you get one part is very expensive.

Well is some of the reality in this countries like L.A. I loved volvo cars, I had 240 turbo, 460 GLE, 760 turbo intercooler, 850 SW Gl, but any series 300, and now recently I found a 343 86' on a yard .

I have many ideas for this cars, and i hope that you help me ti give ideas to improve that car, let me give a great congratulations for the webb that give many help in my proyect.

I had no idea that the 340 had been imported there! That car looks to have a few things I've not seen before. Those headlamp lenses look quite different to ours and those blue seats are unusual.

Have you ever seen one there before? I'm assuming that one was imported by someone for themselves rather than sold there.

The car looks complete, are there any parts you need and is in complete and running and which engine is it?

Its true this model no was imported by a oficial dealer here, only the series 200/400/850 in the 80's 90´s years, but in the midles of 80´s many volvo trucks of second hand from NL was imported to Perú, and the seller's offer like a gift this model or some 200 series. after that time no more cars was imported fron there.

In my case the front light are not original because the car had a litle crash and broke the lenses light and side repeat corner light, unfortunally this parts does´t sell here, and the previous owner had to improve ones from fiber glass this kind of work is very comun here.

The car looks in great orden but need many hand work and maintenance, here new pictures to look the car
