MPG Tracking thread

Just for interests sake, I reckon after the thread that VND and MP have been mentioning MPG's again, it'd be interesting to keep track of those who log such things, just to see variation. You lot know my interest in graphs...

Ok, I'll start one that might eventually move it's way to the wiki when that gets going again. I reckons we have 3 sections (posts, in this instance). One for stock 300s, one for modified 300s, one for generic random stuff that's interesting to follow. Put a post in below with your Fuelly/equivalent thingy and one of the mods will add it to the 3 posts. If anyone knows how to get the actual graphs to display from such pages that's awesome...

All suggestions on organisation etc welcome

Modified stuff, only stuff that is vaguely relevant to the cause of MPG's. The fact you have blue neons and a big stereo will likely be ignored :p

Er, I thought the idea is to use a fuel log website, so the figures on this page automagically update as more data is fed into the log website. :?

Thats what I'd prefer to see, though if you have the data Matt you can add that in too. I just like watching them all auto update ;) Fuelly has a lovely mobile site, so updating the log is super easy.

MP, the fuelly ones click through, as to if I can make it do metric too I've no idea, I'll have a look.

Hope people don't mind I'm stripping out their posts as I move them, otherwise I'll just confuse myself

Wish fuelly had an API!

Might be worth talking to them... how awesome would a data extraction and set of graphs averaging standard 300s by engine updated in real time be. (ok, maybe only awesome if you are sad and geeky. Therefore... to the average Volvo owner, awesome)

I was thinking that it'd be cool to build an app to group all our cars and compare data etc. Looking at the past blog posts an API doesn't seem to be high on the agenda, which is strange as it would be great! Especially for mobile specific apps, even though the web view is pretty nice.
