As it is such a good starting point I'll do a "proper" recommisioning but the intention is to use it as a "daily" leaving the 3door DL as the long term "perfect" resto job. I'll also use the Redline to "test" mild upgrades. Initial spec will be Boge 2lt front springs with Kyaba gas dampers, Big Red calipers with Goodridge hoses, your poly bushes. Obviously new discs and friction materials (genuine rear and probably EBC front.) full service and cambelt change, a Mac diff gasket kit and new coolant hoses, w/pump, etc. I have a Bosal exhaust and a Webcon carb rebuild kit inc. new float.
I've spoken with Brian Gue (Amazonia) about a full re-rustproofing treatment and the body will get a cut and machine polish. I ventured into the attic and dragged out some treats (ambient temp gauge, centre stack twin gauge panel with V meter and oil press gauge, CR- 902 radio, Hella grill etc.).
The intention is that the 3door DL B14 will end up absolutely basic and original - but that's long term. The Redline is for play.!
