Hi everybody
and happy new year.

My english is poor Iapologize in advance ;

but my passion is strong .

I have a 340 DL 1984 vario and i live in france near south bordeaux country of the good(best) wine :mrgreen:
I'll try to show you some pics later but i'm also a bad photograph , so don't expect something very artistic,

tell me if you don't understand me or if i make mistakes. :wink:

My 340 is low mileage (57000 kms) approx 35000 miles; it was a "grandad" car, always garaged ? parked ? inside; near paris,
interior is very good , exterior too /no rust , engine not so good : some leaks but it runs well , exhaust is loud too :mrgreen:

after the old man the next owner changes many expensive things: vario belt, alternator, tyres (michelin),clutch,ignition ...
but he throw the towel when problems continue to happen / I don't know exactly why he sold it. :wink:

I have also two 245 GLT 1984/1988 (B23E automatic and from swiss /B230E) and I owned before two 245 turbo and many many over cars

Yes, the coloured interiors make you go a bit goggle-eyed :3

Your garage looks amazing! Lots of interesting shiny things.

Don't worry about your English. We are all here with a common interest and I think we all like the variety of members.

Not my garage(normally a will have a garage in 2015 and I will fill it with many cars; the list is ready yet :mrgreen: ) ,a friend of mine

The previous car owner was living next his house so I came to see my friend after I took the car ;
he's a compulsive buyer and a great journalist. :mrgreen:

Looks like a good one. Have you fixed the vario system or was there not really a problem with it.

Great original 340, which looks like it has been well cared for.

the previous owner changed the belts (volvo genuine) 300+ euros and the clutch too :mrgreen:
it works well

I love it for cruising around "le bassin d'arcachon" where I live :wink:
