modded 300 pictures wanted

At long last I've decided to build my own web site. It is going to be quite basic to start with as I've only got a limited amount of time to put into it.

What I need is some pictures of 300 to put on it. The sang is I do need them to be of cars that have some of my parts on.

So anyone who has had some bits off me, do you have some good pics of your car that you are willing to let me use.

I've got some of my old GLT Dai which had the Spax shocks on... if you need any website pointers let me know, there are probably some short cuts if you just want to whack up a quick and simple site...

Well all that ive scalped have been available on a google search, so cant be very well copyrighted.

I'll email what Ive got man.
Most are from people we know, so i wouldnt anticipate million dollar lawsuits dude.

VND, even if pic is found from google search, it still is not free to use without permission. Well, that is how our copyright law goes, I have heard it being different in some countries.

So if I take pic of my car and put it on my website, it can't be used by anyone unless I give permission to use that pic.

Well if anyone wants to sue anyone, you can sue me. I havnt got any money and I stand opposed to the ridiculous 'sue everyone' society we've somehow found ourselves living under.
If anyone would like to sue or speak to me personaly, please PM me for my address. Im available most evenings.
Pics are in the public domain once posted on the internet as far as my scruples are concerned. As long as theyre not used to decieve I dont see what the problem is.
If you dont want your pics used by others, watermark them before publishing them on the internet, or dont do it.

We would not need even laws if people would respect other's work and such, so there would not be even possible to sue anyone, but as people don't respect others or their work, we need laws and possibility to sue someone

That's a good idea - I saw some of your parts on Ebay - I'm sure having your own webite will help your sales!

Keep it basic ... but update regularly, even if time is short! Nothing worse than "here's our latest offer" dated March 2005.

And getting the photographers' permission before hosting a pic is a very good idea too It could save a lot of hassle.

Also get into "search engine optimisation". It will draw an extra 80% of customers to your website through google.

Another good thing to do is to take a look at Google Analytics and if possible use it on even your simple site - it will allow you to see where your visits are coming from and focus on improving traffic from different sources and to different areas of your site. You'll need a google account, but it's all free
