Had one last year but had to sell it as i literally ran out of money (student = messed up money priorities). Kept it totally standard and very much missed it, looking for another cheap runabout once I can be rid of my VW Polo.

Ideally I would like a 1.4 to keep insurance low, don't seem to be many about though. Has to have MOT and preferably tax so I can insure it and drive it away.
Other than that, I'm not too fussed on the condition as long as it starts and goes.
