360 running gear
Just wondered how much I should be paying for good contition volvo 360 running gear? And how common it is.

Thinking of converting a 340? You'd need gearbox, torque tube, bellhousing, engine, engine mounts, front crossmember, gear linkage, and that's about it. I definitely have a spare torque tube and box, not sure about the other stuff though.

I'll need to get the other project on the road before I start taking my 340 apart, it must have a few more track days in it atleast anyway.
I was thinking about 944 parts but that might get a bit complicated.
The 360 stuff can handle 160bhp anyway cant it?

Yeah I'm sure it'll be fine with that sort of power, They're pretty tough in my experience. Fitting the engine mounts is a pain because the 340 has no captive nuts in the chassis rails. You need to drill holes in the right places then convince someone with small arms to reach into the chassis rail from the front. That's what I did anyway.
