Alloys

Post by DeKay » 25 Oct 2004 03:29 pm

I'm after some alloys, any alloys (preferable 15" tho, and I would love original volvo ones)
the catch is I'm not really in a position to spend any "real" amounts of money on them (like over £50), so anybody that's got any, knows of any, can steal any.... I'd be uber-greatfull. I'm in brum at the moment, but I'll be goin back up north most weekends. I will be at the meet though, even if i have to walk! (I know that defeats the object of it being a car type meet thing, but I love irony!)

many thanks in advance
Dave

Where abouts in brum are you? I in Birmingham too, and finally just bought a 360GLT. Ofcourse you have to bring your 340 too!

I've been in already, came home about an hour ago... the TIC makes me sad!

What road do you park on.. haven't seen a red 340 on the road I park on; Windsor Street South.. which is directly opposite PMT (Professional Music Technology) for people who wonder what the hell I'm talking about.

scrappies charge a LOT for wheels - normally ~ £30 each. i've got an extra set cos i brought some origional glt alloys for nessy, which i have, and grace came with a set of late glt alloys

I'd second the vote for the early 400 14" ones...

'Polux/Pollux' - VERY cheap! (Everyone seems to call *these* Atlas, but its not right...)

or

'Atlas' - not so cheap, but nicer IMO. Still fairly damn cheap!

Man...it took me AGES to find that Atlas pic.

cheers

Or you could just buy my old GLT wheels for peanuts and respray them :P Think if I had a 340, i'd just make it look like a GLT.

Gota be better than 13" wheels and trims.. just? maybe?!
