i'm looking for a new carb for my second 340... seems like first choke is knackered either new carb or recon kit. pm me.

Hello, might just be the idle solenoid (failed on mine 2 weeks ago). Unscrew it and check if it clicks when you turn on ignition. If not, you can get replacements from Southern carburretors. Cheers, bogbasic.

I have a 1.7 carb that was taken of mine about a week back. It ran fine when it was on the car.
