Alright chappies

I'm currently car-less and am fed up with it so am looking for an uber cheap 300. Any model really, as long as it's road legal and not a complete dog. I'll even consider other makes and model TBH, so what have you got?

Oh, and the nearer to Southampton it is the better as I dont want to travel too far!

Cheers

I recently found out a bus from Sunderland to south London costs £11. Time's probably the only problem with long distances, i.e. whether you have a day off work etc.

'twas in Caterham, south of the big smoke. I may still have it once I've got room, but really I'm attempting to downsize a bit so it's up for grabs. It's a bit snotty on the valance and will probs need a sill soon (it's had one already), but it isn't exactly falling apart, has a year's test, and is a mk2 with some toys and 6 dial dash.

Carl, not long ago wrote:I kept these ones because they took me ages to find and cost a fair bit of money in total, but unfortunately I'm at the point where I don't know if I'll ever get to use them again and the funds would be very useful for my little project and the up-coming wedding.

What's your budget Carl? I have a very nice 850 2.5 N/A with LPG if you wanted cheap to run chucked into the mix! Long tax, October possibly and MOT'd till July from memory. Otherwise I'll keep my eyes peeled for you!

Pete

You're a funny man Cardwell :P

But I'm after a car to get me round for a month or 3 - no pimping will carried out, ideally no work at all will be carried. I'm just annoyed at being without a car! As such I've only got a budget of a few hundred quid - I guess the 850 is not within that!! However Pete, it's my turn to buy a car from you so if you can find something... ;)

That black one looks perfect if you dont want it John. I'll send the dude a message.

Well mine and Steve's feindish plan to buy a GLT has fallen through, so I'm on the lookout for a car again
