Desperately looking for a 340 or 360 in a good condition.
Should be a stick shift and less than 100,000 miles / 160,000 km
Location shouldn't be any further than 300 km from Cologne
Willing to pay up to 1,500 € if it's in a very good condition

Check Marktplaats.nl or go to
www.volvo300club.nl and than click on 'advertenties'...There loads on there...Just not that many 360's though...
Have 2 300's for sale at the moment. But both are CVT's, and both are 343's and not 340/360...

Well my family has been driving Volvo traditionally. Now i'm (19 years old) seeking for a nice, small and reliable car at a reasonable price. And i'm not really into FWD so the 300 series suits just perfectly.
My dad just discharged his '88 740 Turbo because he bought a V70 but considering gas prices, that's not really a good car for me (it has 300,000km on the clock too but still running good)
And please don't be afraid to sell your car to me just because i am 19 years old! I am so not going to put any body kits or spoilers or air scoops on it!

can anyone tell me which emission standart the 360 meets
euro 1 would be €300 of duty but euro 2 would only be €150 (in germany)

You'd be very lucky to find a 360 with a B200F engine, which meets the Euro 1 emission standard and has the green "Umweltplakette". AFAIK there are no kits available to boost that to Euro 2 ...
The majority of "semi-clean" 360s on the market are "bedingt schadstoffarm" and have some kind of exhaust recirculation system which was all the rage in the 80's but aren't good for much these days (except for reducing the power output).
