Heated seats

Post by Speedy88 »

I've been told by the previous owner that my 340 has heated seats. But I can't find the button nor can I find it anywhere in the manual. Was he telling porkies or does it really have them? Where can I find the mysterious button?

On earlier cars there was no switch, they came on automatically below a certain temperature. But on yours there should be a button for them between the seats, as littered says ...

Bleh, I must be blind. Unless it's the ones that I thought were the switches for the back windows! I'll take a look after work :x

That sounds like the ones :-) The diagrams on them can wear off after a while.

They are still thermostatic though, the switches do not necessarily turn them on. The thermostats and heating elements do tend to fail after a bit of bum wear. I have overhauled mine, and fixed the lumbar support at the same time, which needed welding. All fairly straight forward.
