Its just the angle! May be the awful numberplate throwing them off, as the 9 is crooked and it has black paint on the bottom! I think in the attempt to spray the old 340 bumper that was on it when I got the car, whilst on the car!!

James, you're forgetting auto flatter  , it always seems to look better in pictures! :) That was after the first wash it had in about 1200 miles!

The green car did 280 thousand kilometers,so the interior and doors ,seats were in bad condition. The donor car did only 140 thousand kilometres, seats were like new. The newer type bumpers andrear lamps look better. I mean:)

I can't see too clearly, but I get the feeling those are like the rims that Mick wants for his car. Looks good!

cheers

That's a damn tidy looking car. Does the boot build fill the boot that much, or is it just tipped back for the photos? Just out of interest, why didn't you go for a factory rev counter?

cheers

Interior shots:

I went for the aftermarket purely because a friend gave it to me, his dad used to have it in a ford cortina but as both his and his dads cars have rev counters as standard he gave it to me for free, recently spotted it in a magazine for £40!
The stereo is permanently like that due to the sizes of the boxes for the subs behind, it could go a little further back but there's a gap thats slightly wider in the boot (where the parcel shelf area which it sits on ends i think) and so its too wide to fit any further back!

There's a distinct lack of gauges in that car............

Well, let me tell you a little secret, but don´t tell anyone

These are really easy to get VW Passat steel rims, got them on ebay including tyres for only 25 Euros. Add about 10 Euros for paint, and this is the result.

Well, you got to be creative if you buy a 340 for 50 Euros and want it to look good without spending more then the car has cost
