FRONT NEARSIDE INDICATOR LENS?

I've literally just cracked my front nearside indicator lens trying to park!

How hard is it to replace with another one?

Hi Justin.
Pretty easy job mate.
Drope of the bumper[four 13m bolts behind the blanking plates]
Remove headlight[four large star screws attaching to the body].
Indicater lense is attached to headlight[two small screws].

How the hell do I undo the star screws, do I need a special tool and what size?

Hi mate.
Just use a large star head screwdriver.

You dont need to drop the bumper and the light to change the indicator, if you undo the screw from the engine bay side it will come out.

Forgive my ignorance, I didnt realise when you said a star screw you meant what we in the West Country call a "Cross Head", I thought you meant one of those awful screws that does actually look like a star.

I popped the bonnet this morning and could see that you literally just have to undo one screw, managed to get one from a scrapyard for a fiver...
