rebuilt carb but stil sound funny?

Post by Tom bailey »

i havejust rebuilt the carb on the e reg 340 due to the mixture not being correct andit running very rich and then finally not running at all .after the rebuild it runs but its still not running smooth? but has started ( still sounds like there is not enough air getting in , but at high revs its fine but bad at low revs).is it worth getting a mobile mechanic to have a nosey or can anyone reccomend anything? thx

Did you replace the gaskets and check for air leaks during/after the rebuild Tom?

At first glance, it doesnt seem to be directly relevant to your problem, but theres a lot of good carb info here mate:

Have a nosey, see if anything helps.
And if youve already read that, sorry
