i went to see this 3 weeks ago and the lads bought it up north and spent quite alot getting it thru the MOT - new sills, wipers and a few other bits. it was more than i wanted to pay as it does show its mileage but has a years MOT and tax. the rear boot struts don't worlk either and there is surface rust inside the boot.

i got an email today from the guy offering it for £600 to get it off his drive- he is making a big loss as he paid £500 for it and was going to use it for a rally across europe untill he realised how thirsty it is

Hi guys im new to the forum, been a poster on Pistonheads for a while and saw the ad you've posted, went and bought this car on saturday. Drove it from Watford to Edinburgh that night and it couldn't have been a more pleasant journey.

as said it's not in the best of nick but i plan to spend a bit of time sorting out the things i can, the list so far can be seen on the link above. I will try to keep that thread updated and i'll probably be on here sooner or later for some advice
