Shame you didn't do that for the Santa Pod meet, the weight reduction may have helped your time........

Right Steve, I'm a CD changer lighter, plus all the 300 parts and rubbish I was carrying, think I can do it now! Roof bars don't help, I know they weren't fitted, but it's extra weight! Seriously though, I believe James' weight loss for the GLE did work, I mean the seat and spare etc weight a fair amount.

Cant wait tis today now!!!!! Gonna be there no matter what. Couldn t do work on my car so trusting in pure Volvo toughness to get us there but will be there even if its on the back of an AA lorry!!!!!!! See ya tomorrow fella s
Didn t even get out of Cambridge. Gotta do final drive . Tried to top it up yesterday but the fill plug is stuck solid! Diff not seized but dont think I would have made it to Milton Keynes. Didnt sound too great so I just brought her home. Hope you guys got plenty of pics!!!! Absolutely gutted!
Have to say thanks to Mick for the volvo bits, V3M sticker, and spot on directions that even I could follow, cheers mate!! also a big thank you to will for the type two bits. It was realy good to see everyone and all the lovely 300s. Left early to help a mate who crashed his renault five into a pillar at santa pod, signed on and got a couple of runs in, managed to get a 15.011s quater, trapped @ 92.97 MPH cool!!! could do better as I fluffed the change to second and got a BIT MUCH wheel spin off the line
thanks again to everyone at the meet, looking forward to the next one!
