can u fit a 1.4 radiator in a 1.7? is there a size difference?

i also wanted to no if a 440, 460 or a 480 radiator will fit because i decided to try and buy a new one because if i got a second hand one then i dont no how long it will last before i have to get another but the cost of a new one is £160 and to get mine recon'ed is about £80 but i can get a brand new 440, 460, 480 rad for around £40-50 quid so can any one help me?
