think its a mk 1 golf splitter. there used to be a lot of em about but theyve dried right up since folk realised they fit 300s.

I suppose you right mate but simlarly Adams white 300 was really rusty when I went to see it when it was for sale in worthing and based on his thread it looked like a fair bit was done before the spraying was done!

Been watching this, looks like a nice project.

To be fair it's been a long time since it was resprayed now, the rust doesn't surprise me - always a losing battle once it's started.
