I'm trying to work out what to do to stop it spreading any further. Luckily no paint has flaked away as of yet so it's completely un-noticeable, in fact the only way to really notice it is if you run your finger across it. I only picked it up by chance when washing it last weekend.

The primer I was talking about has zink or alu particals in it. I dont know the science of it but I know they work very well, industry would not use it otherwise. I have been using these paints for over ten years and found things dont rust after. Practical classics did a test a year ago, very good general car mag.
