f7p headgasket failure

does anyone where to get the head skimmed
also if anyone knows if this is definatly the right headgasket kit

and lastly i can take all the head off and everything but im not that confident to put it all back together as iv never done one before so is there anyone that could do that for me at a good price

Changing head gaskets is piss easy, especially on cars like valver converted volvos! The things you need to look out for are things like stretch bolts - do you need to replace all the head bolts? And you need to make sure the timing is done correctly :) Thomas.............

hopefully the bolts will still be ok the engine was rebuilt not even a year ago

Either do it all yourself (recommended) - bar the skim obv, sure it needs one?? Or give it to a garage, as a lot of places won't touch half an engine and a box of bits!

I don't know much about these things, but if they're stretch bolts then you will need to measure them to check they are still within tolerance. If not, new ones needed. If they're not much then it's worth renewing things like this anyway.
