OLVO 240 THROTTLE CABLE (ENGINE B200E)

Saw this on Ebay..just wondering if anyone new if they would fit a B200E...Ideas/ helps

Have spoken to BROOKHOUSE VOLVO PARTS ..the nice people selling the parts. They have said that this item is not listed to fit the 360 B200E. Anyone any ideas?

i was in the sctrap yard the other day and i was gonna take the throttle cable off a 240 as a replacment for the b200 one as it looks looked exactly the same, looked brand new and then my mate whent and hit it with a spanner and broke the adjuster never gonna fing a new looking one for 3 quid again lol

The 240 cable will kind of fit.

Where the cable fixes to the bulkhead you need to slot the holes a little so that the screws will fit through.

Even so in your case it will not work as you would need the LHD version as it is much shorter

In australia..so rhd...what does sort of fit mean?

Both end fitting will connect ok. The differnce is where the cable goes through the bulkhead as the spacing for teh screws is a couple of mm wider. If you slot the holes a little you can then secure it to the bulkhead.
