CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP I NEED A COUPLE OF PUSHRODS FOR MY 1989 VOLVO 340 1397CC NEW OR SECOND HAND DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SPARES FOR SALE OR PUT ME INTOUCH WITH ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE.

Just a quick question, but what did you do to require new pushrods? Are they worn, snapped or bent, if they are just bent then try and straighten them in a vice useing a bit of heat, it does work because I have done it.
Sorry I don't know of anywhere in your location who to suggest as I'm not from there but I'm sure someone would be able to get them for you, if not then you may be able to get them from a breakers or one of the members may be able to sort you out with some.

Find yourself a scrap yard which deals with MOT failures, and it's bound to contain at least one 340 1.4...or a Renault 5, which had (essentially) the same engine. Start taking it apart
