Fuses

Post by Vart »

just blown another fuse number 14 (interior lights and clock and stuff) but i don't know why. i've recently installed a clock by the radio using some wires i found taped up behind where it lives and put in a cigar lighter socket as the old one didn't work too good. i've only one fuse left and the shop only sells them in packs containing four fuses, 3 of which i don't need.

i'm thinking the cigar lighter is the problem as it draws the most current but theres always been one there. i can't imagine its the clock as the draw on supply is tiny.

any ideas?

Does it only blow at a certain time, say when useing the lighter? or does it blow when not useing this?

What rating is the fuse?
