Just before we turn over the page of 2020 I thought I would stick a post up....
Interested in hearing your plans for '21 with your 300s....
Thats me owned EBC for 16 months ish..... done very few miles this year unfortunately, hope to change that next year.
2021 plans - New radiator, water pump. hoses, thermostat etc. Install the Econ and Ambient gauges and also the OPG and Voltmeter I have sitting here (unless an oil temp gauge comes up!). Tidying up some more of the wiring and considering looking into a SS exhaust system as my only non-OEM mod....
Wishing everyone a safe and healthy 2021.
Dave

Always good to have decent lighting in the garage/workshop.
I fitted a new LED batten recently to boost lighting above a work bench. Think it was about £25 from Screwfix, literally is night and day the result
Keep at it Logan....get that 360 running again!
Cheers Dave
Awesome work, the socket dismantling tools arrived the other day, but I can still only remove the round connectors. The flat blade ones are a mare. Any clues?

Swap the diff on my GLS, daily both the GLT and GLS during the nice weather... at this rate just for weekly shopping trips!
Planned for freshening up the suspension on the GLT at some point also but it's not all that necessary, and I know I'll get carried away and want to remove the subframe and arms etc
Get my 360 on the road next month for the first time in nearly 9 years while I take my daily 940 off the road.
Fitting to the 940
3" stainless exhaust
Garrett T3 turbo
S60R green giant injectors
IPD turbo cam
Gold EZK
Fram air filter
M90 manual conversion
300hp rated clutch
Some other bits I've forgotten about, then once that's done I'm sure the nice weather will have gone and I can tuck the 360 away again and use the 940 in the cold weather.
Given this time last year I was thinking I'd likely sell my new shell as I'd bought it, it'd sat on my drive and I'd not had the drive to do anything with it, I'm not sure my beginning of year thinking is worth much
Having the 300 has been one of the better things to go to over the last 12 months in a pretty crap year.
Current theory is take out the suspension fitted by the previous owner, rebuild it, back in. Fingers crossed I'll get my workshop finished and be able to move onto some of the larger ideas I have.
Sounds like some great work going on....
I'm just looking forward to getting into the spring and clear of the salt ridden roads up here....
Fired it up at the weekend after a few weeks slumber, a bit lumpy but soon cleared its throat..... I brimmed the tank before lay up and added in some fuel stabiliser....hopefully its doing its job.
First spring trip will be for an MOT and then looking forward to getting a few miles racked up this year.
Also fitted a cool 80's square AA badge on the front grille....proper flat cap territory.....
Cheers Dave
It's what I ended up doing. Much easier to get on top of things when it's the main car. Given main currently is which one does the weekly shopping collection
