Now, I'm sure I've seen an odd one cheap on Ebay, could have been and gone now, but worth a look. There have been a few cheap sets actually, but there was certainly an odd one, looked in good nick too.

Yeh i've just spoke to Salvo Group who have a set on there and they said they have a few odd ones about £35 delivered but considering i only paid £83.50 all in with 4 good tyres i thought that was a bit steep!!! lol

Ouch, the postage soon makes wheels very steep on price. I'll see if I can find that odd one again. I don't think it had any bids, so may not have sold.

That is a bit steep... my spare alloy cost £2 and £8 postage from what I remember...

You cutting hole for the wheel or mounting it underneath? and whats the advantage of the '60 tank, it's not much bigger (though I was tempted to run both, apart from the stupid weight I'd carry)

Yeh putting a 60 boot well in. Reason for a 60 tank is 1 the size and 2 the GLT fuel tank for electronic pump for other engine!!!

It is quite a lot bigger...isn't it? Good luck on the metalwork involved in cutting the boot floor  Remember you can always fit an electric pump to the 340 tank...or quite possibly not use a pump back there at all.

I can collect stuff from Salvo when I'm up in Derby...and bring it to a meet?

cheers

Sounds good when you in Derby? The only thing i am afetr is the alloy wheel from a 440!! They quoted me £35 summut delivered minus tire so i'm reckoning about £10 less would be good but £20 would be ideal!!! Dont mind paying more for a mint one!!!
As for the 60 tank its a 57litre as apposed to the 45 in the 340!!
Should be straight forward to do the floor and the tank will bolt straight in!!

Ok..I'm sure we can work something out :) Surely the boot floor is welded?

Yep but then again, so are the sills!!!! And under the boot mat you can get away with a slightly different colour!!! And the boot floor goes between chassis legs so its not strictly structural!!!
