I was actually talking to petavius's other half last night on the phone selling him some VW parts and Volvo's came into conversation, at which point he handed the phone over to her(sorry, don't know your real name!)and I was told this is 'THE' place to be.

Gotta say, it seems real good on here, lots of nice people etc... 340pw

When I bought my car in 1992 I ended up in VOC. Pre www. They used to send a magazine, I remember on more than one occasion the 340 was described as "not a real Volvo", I have therefore never subscribed to them. The 340 is a great little car which Volvo have not managed to replicate in any of their recent efforts, I test drove a 460 and 440 when they were still new and didn't like them so decided to stick with the 340. It's great to have a website devoted to my car which has served me brilliantly for 12 years and still going strong. Keep up the good work

in the uk there is 'friends of the volvo 300'. a small bi-monthly (afaik) magazine run by some old chap in scotland. has hints and tips, some featured car, articles, you name it. and all about the 300 too!
