Indeed, I spotted the rather warm engine at 100 mph!

And also I meant to say, Aymat, I see a rather bad habit forming, reversing into cars with your GLT! Don't tell me we need to club together to buy you an aftermarket reversing sensor kit do we!?

And Foggy, these pics did inspire me, I've honestly never even left the UK, got a plane to Ireland once! Furthest I've been is Scotland! Sad I know, got the passport, but my mates are pants at organising a holilday, the proverbial in the local brewery is a problem, let alone getting abroad. So the roadtrip idea is one I'm in one if it ever happens, sound like a right laugh!

I don't even have a passport Pete!

Taking it easy? Yes...well...guilty as charged :) This is...the B14 is so damn go-ey, I was at 90 before I even noticed. Try the same in 5th with a B200, and it'll give you a load of "urgh...do I have to?!" It's like trying to get a teenager out of bed in the morning! Of course the B200 will do it, and significantly faster, but it 'feels' less zippy. Very strange.

cheers

I know the feeling foggy is descirbing, both of my 360s 'feel' pretty lazy in 5th, even though they'll still pull pretty damn strongly.

5th gear is overdrive (which means gear ratio below 1:1). No good for quick acceleration. ;)

Well, I did only get my passport sorted last year, after being told I'd need it, only for best laid plans to fall apart at the seams. So it's never been used yet, a road trip sounds like a great laugh. How much have they gone up by then Steve?

I really should have saved trawling through the pictures from Hugh's trip for another day, but I looked through the lot in one go, late at night. There really are some classic pics there, very inspiring.

They're now £51.....£9 increase?
PITA, as I paid originally at the old price, but had to get a refund as the online application thing cocked up...by the time it's come through of course, the price has gone up...

cheers

Hmm how about a trip to Scotland - and a joint meet of members of the Friends of the 300 Club? Edinburgh is also a excellent city :)
