Alright all, anyone feel like doing me a hooooooooooge favour, and trailer a car from Weston Super Mare to Southampton? Only in the thinking stages, but if anyones able...

Chris, it just so happens I have Brittania Personal Recovery cover. As long as it's not too obviously suss (ie it's got no engine) then a flat bed back to Southampton could probably be blagged!!

Or get Brittania cover yourself - cheaper than the AA, and better cover! Very useful for late night rally incidents (trust me, I know!!)

When we moved the 242 we hired a trailer (£35/day?), borrowed a tow car (940 turbo), and I think the complete cost was sub £100 to do several times the distance.

Carl... I have Brittania Rescue, but it's a wierd arrangement set up that covers me and Mum, so she gets personal, and Kar is covered. Might well take you up on it, sounds like a plan. I'll drop you a pm
