later model 32 DIR weber carb

Post by ebdl »

Does anyone have a known good (no faults) Weber carb for a 1.4 340? I was hoping to have Huskyracer's old one but I need one ASAP. I'd like a later model without the constant CO system that mine has, as it'll be easier to set up and will hopefully be more reliable. I can't find one in local scrap yards - only Solex or 360 carbs. Help! :)

Ed, I dont know much abut carb model engines but there is a very clean 340 1.7 in Looms in derby, if you ask foggy he may know more about it as I think he's scavenged a few bits off it.

i believe its a carb model but not to sure :?
Erm, I've lost my keys again...

Still got mine Ed, although I think Shimon has claimed it. It doesn't have constant CO, but it doesn't have the fuel-saving cut-off switch either...ie: its an intermediate age carb ~1984.

cheers

Cool :) We must get in touch about when you're around to pick up that stuff. I'll be living in Newark (ie: 15 minutes from Lincoln) from this Friday.

cheers
