or would be ideal battlewagon for the stock car circuit!
I can't stand owners pointing at the opportunity for banger racing or some sort   This car should stay on the road!

It's probably the leather that's special i quess.

I think Limited Edition usually means it came with a selection of extras (metallic paint, alloys, leather, sunroof etc.) as standard for less than the normal price. I had an LE 440 that had alloys, an electric sunroof (but manual windows!) and metallic paint.

Hmmmm. not far from me.......... But I shall have to resist. Leather looks tidy though and the owner hasn't spotted this is of any importance, such a shame, as it's been pointed out, that it is being suggested that it could be used for racing.

just a thought ,

if we all leave it alone and it dosent sell ( £97.00 is a bit steep for a car with rusty doors and no mot ),
someone who wants to do a p.a.s. conversion can contact the guy after the auction ends and may be able to get it cheap .

scrap the car and either keep the leather or sell it on.

they should get there money back by selling the lecky windows and tow bar anyway

by the way , what is that wierd panel in front of the gear laver ?it isnt a cubby hole , cassette case or auxillary gauge panel

oh crap, I am getting tempted to do it myself lol

redline with powersteering and lecky windows , now how could I get red piping around the leather sm14

Daffodil... is your special edition a greeny/ blue colour? its got a red/silver stripe and the paint is actually one from the 700 series?

metal sunroof fitted at the factory?

PS are you building a volvo 340 van?

cheers

Would be no good for banger racing anyway as the cam belt is right at the front and the first hit it would get broken.

Yeah, that makes sense: my F-reg GLE doesn't have leather, leccy mirrors or alloys.

I see the car has just been re-listed with the same starting bid!

Looks to me like it's just a big hole: the space left behind when the cassette drawers have been removed. That's exactly what mine looks like (and conveniently my CD wallet fits perfectly in the space!)

It maybe looks a little odd because of the angle of the photo...

yeah , I had a discussion with Pete about the cubby hole and agreed its just a poor picture at a wierd angle and a standard cubby hole
