i've been on holiday the last week (no-where nice really - just round wales) in my full and heavy 340.. got some random footage of it (not here yet, i'll try and patch it together sometime), it looks real good with the big fox sticker on the rear window. anyways, covered 914 miles on £75 of petrol (90l) which isnt too bad really - about 35mpg, mostly on windy horrible roads... and whilst on the way home my car passed 180000 miles (288000km). only another 20k to go

only problem was in a campsite i ground the car out on a treestump and damaged something. there is now a 'knocking' sound coming from under the car all the time. all the time. all the time (yup its taht irritating). think its the exhaust so i'm gonna take it in next payday.

i fixed it now, i'd just snapped a rubber exhaust mount.

you cant get a speedo with just miles on it - the speedos are all 'just kms' or 'miles with kms' as far as i know
