The MOD list.

Post by Cruisen Volvo »

Well here is an initial list of little mods that i am goin to do once cars is on the coast. Please add any cheap easy mods you think i have forgotten.

-Paint Mags
-Lowering
-Replace light in key with LED
-Paint dashboard trimmings
-Build covers for hiddy hole in boot.
-6"x9" on parcel shelf
-6" splits in front doors
-I would like to install some gauges but not sure about availability. Do other model cars gauges work in 360?

This is all i can think of for now, not easy thinking what you have to do when you haven't got the car or seen it for 2 months LOL.

I will also be reporting progress and pics under this topic but nothing will be happening till at least next tuesday.

Thanks

360s use accessory gauges from later 240s.

Yeah, you can remove the side mouldings...but it takes ages!

You can get clear indicator lenses from www.radicast.se, but they're not cheap.

cheers

spit.

err, no.. thats not it.

double sided automotive adhesive tape!

 the stuff sticks pretty good

usually this stuff softens up when warm, so you could use a hairdryer to start with.

afterwards the sticky remains can be carefully removed with white spirit, WD40, etc.

If there's rust beneath mouldings the paint will come off in pieces very easily.
