More blanking plates

Post by Carl »

Was there ever a 300 without an ashtray? If so was there a blanking plate where it should have been?

If so, I'll be after that one too :)

Blanking plates ??

Post by mac »

Afternoon all, been off on an expedition today, 180mls round trip to collect a cement mixer from Dunstable of all places! - ah! the joys of e-bay.

Back to business - cover plates.

No, there never was a 300 without an ashtray (even the van had one) - where else would the Dutch put out their spliffs! So no cover plate there.

Been doing a little digging,

Clock cover plate is pt.no.3286709.
Cig. lighter plate (without the lighter, just a hole) is pt.no.3286710.
Switch cover plates are pt.no.1210690 - exactly the same as 240/260. In fact - the same part no.

Knowing Ford spares policy I doubt any are available any more - but it must be worth asking a main stealer!

Mac.
