Ha ha lesson to be learned, if fitting ally valve caps, copper grease the threads!!!!

Lol, only just seen this, my mate had exactly the same problem when trying to get the redline valve caps off his corsa :lol:

Sounds a pain, some of those anodized caps do look smart, but they sure cost a lot for a small bit of metal.

Guess what, I'm running original plastic ones :P Well, they may not be original, they may have come with the new tyres...

Do new tyres come with new caps, or do garages just put the old ones back on... I guess it must be the originals or there'd be a lot of waste caps...

Nah, new tyres always come with new valves and caps, the old ones get thrown when they take the old tyres off the rim.

I once put some metal caps on Affie's valves. Next time I went to check the tyre pressures they'd gone! Thieving so and so's.

That'd be about the same time that someone went to the trouble of taking one of the plastic things that plug into the front bumpers. Must have been desperate lol
