I Have a Volvo 343 DL ( Model 1977) in Iran . It's Gear Changes In Variomatic is weak now and as I am a Mechanic Technician I Think That It Should be Because of Tears In Circle Diafragms of It's Variomatic ( Those Diafragms that are made from Rubber And Steel In Front Pulleys And Their Duty Is to use Vaccum Pressure to force each pulley Pair to get close and finally make Gear Ratio HIGH ) .
I Uninstalled It's Variomatic and I Saw That Those Diafragms are Teared (And Tears would Cause Leak of Vaccum Pressure ) In Duration Of Years of Use .
So I'm Looking For Those Diafragms to buy From All Around The World And As My Sister Lives in UK I Can Pay Their Price Using Her Credit Card.
( As you Know Unfortunately I Can't Send Money Out Of Iran Because Of Sanction's and Limitations)
I Need A Pair of them to use in both Front Pulley's.
I Would be So Glad To hear your suggestions ( Helpful Links or Spare Part Shop's Addresses or your own mentioned Spare parts ) .

Hi there farzadjahankhah, and welcome to V3M - beware it's addicitive!!
Split primary diaphrams will certainly cause your problems - but they are still available from Volvo dealers here in the UK. I have spoken to my local dealer and they confirm that they can still be ordered from Sweden (2-3 days to supply).
The part no. for one diaphram is 3100997 (you will obviously need two) and the price each is £18.33 (GB pounds stirling - which I think is about 311'597 RI (or 31'159 Toman) sorry if my conversion is wrong). In Volvo UK terms they are quite cheap.
As 'antiekeradio' has said - the problem may be actually getting them to you (isn't it a shame that political silliness seems to get in the way of things).
If your sister lives here in the UK she would be able to buy the diaphrams from any Volvo dealer - does she know if it's ok to send parcels to Iran ?
(If it's ok to send 'family' parcels to you then your problem is solved!)
