For sure I have a set of good condition rear mudflaps, and even probably two new clips (though I think they require more searching for) on the current parts wagon (or the dead 340 in the garage).

I've been looking for a set of these too if anyone's got a second set knocking about. Anyone had any experience fitting universal type mud flaps to the back of a 300 (I'd honestly prefer a pair without logos)?

Yeah, I fitted a pair of non geniune one s to Kar Aaron. They were fitted with what looked like mini g-clamps, but I just drilled holes in them and used the orig wing fixing bolts on the front, can't remember what I did on the back, but as I'm on the island atm (looknig at a sorry for itself Kar) I'll look for you tomorrow!

Ronnie, you should have said as the Devon meet, I took the rear mudflaps off Snowey ;)

I still have them but don't need them. They have Volvo on them, but they arn't the standard ones on all other 300's I've seen. The flaps seem in fine condition if I remember, but the brackets are rusty. They're still in Devon though, and I'm in Staffordshire... If your intersted maybe we could work something out...

Obviously I'm not the only one who wants mudflaps for his 300... How much!

Sorry for never getting back to you, MJ - yes I'm interested in your flaps young sir, if you can lay your hands on them!

Well if the price even matters for a set of rear only Volvo logoed mudflaps, well I guess we go with the scrapyard favourite of something like £10 with a negotiation room (although they are easy to store unlike the wheels). Guess I need to weigh them too for the old postie.

Don't worry Ronnie :)

Here are a couple pics for reference, and just to remind you, the brackets are rusty but the flaps themselves were fine if my memory serves me right.

How soon do you need them? I'm not sure about the best way of posting them, but if you can wait 5 weeks, maybe I could meet you on my way home from uni off the motorway at Bristol?

They'll do nicely - and I'm in no rush. Meeting up in 5 weeks or so sounds fine, but I'm a shift worker and do 12hr days or nights so availability is kind of errratic!

If you'd rather post them I'll Paypal you the damage.

Cheers! sm40

Great, well you'd better give me a reminder in 5 weeks or so in case I forget;)

When I know when I'm going home I'll send you a PM and see if it'd be possible to meet, otherwise I'll sort out postage over Christmas (or meet you when I head back up this way in the new year) :)
