Carb wise, hope you get the Solex, as Redline said, the webers were replacements, and don't have the carb base preheater or the idle solenoid, which caused me a few issues. I got a second hand solex, new gaskets, floats and needle valve, and my cars much better! (And I had done the same to the weber too!!!)

Black and Silver plates are only legal on pre-73 cars, i.e. those in the 'historic' taxation class. Which is annoying when you have a post-73 classic, cos not only do you have to have boring modern plates, but you also have to pay road tax....

I suggest getting a number plate with as many England flags as possible, then picking up a Burberry cap ;)

Adam's car has the Volvo bodykit front valance on it.
