I'd agree, my saloons engine feels alot less free revving than the one in the black car (30k difference in mileage). Not reached 100k yet in the saloon...

100,000 miles seams to be the magic number for a free revving engine. The new low milage engine in Vicky's 340 does not rev anywere near as well as the old one.
