I send some money....
Will Smiths gauges fit in a VDO dash?
Tatatatataaaaaa !
And finally, gauges arrived safely to finland.
It takes about 9 years to wait somebody will sell Smiths gauges.
Take a quess who is happy .... and there was -28 degrees "warm" in the morning.
Now wondering how long i should look for door cards
Thank you Tom !!!!
Really huge thanks.

Thanks Pete & Chris for your help! Swapped the speedo over last night and fitted my new 6-dial dash this morning and am really chuffed! I just love that econ gauge - I know it's pretty pointless but its great fun watching it jump all over the place. Hard to keep me eyes on the roadChris_C wrote:Manifold tapping is on other redblocks, there are 2 sizes, but anything that means you get a tube from manifold to gauge will work. Temp wiring is easy
While I was at it I fitted an interior light delay relay (located just behind the instrument panel on my LHD car) - which means at night I can look at my nice new dash just a little bit longer after shutting the car door
Unfortunately, the bayonet connection on the speedo cable disintegrated in my hands when removing it from the instrument panel, and now it's just stuck in without anything securing it in place. Oh well, at least I'll know where the fault is should my speedo stop working ...
Aukki, how're you getting on with your Smiths bits?
Tom
