If anyone's into rare Mk1 accessories, here's something interesting:
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 0091507071
It's featured in my 1980 accessory brochure for the Mk1, but was dropped the year later. Might fit into very early Mk2's (with the old style dash) as well though ...
If anyone here buys it, a scan for the "Blue Leaflets" section would be great

Oh nice, I wonder if Mk 3 got such accessories too?
Quite surprising to see such in Mk I, electronic gadgets were not common in those days.

Not "officially" anyway ...
The very early Mk2 B14's (1981) had air conditioning on the options list, was dropped later though ...

There was one of those a few months ago on ebay. I didn't get it as I don't want a pot to do the adjusting, have been tempted to drop mondeo stalks on with the 6 position switch, but they are too fat for the car style.

Now that really is a period piece! Loads of cars have those stalks Chris - several Fords, some older Nissans, etc.
cheers
